There are activities which challenge youngsters to design gadgets, solve puzzles and complete mazes. The 300 stickers that are included can be used to make imaginative robotic creations and design futuristic scenes. There are 48 pages and 8 full pages of stickers – there is more to this title than is found in an average sticker book.
The information is upbeat and presented to the reader in bite-sized quantities – perfect for children between 3-8 years old. The great thing about Robots and Gadgets is that it provides an engaging introduction to the subject area. It will pique children’s curiosity pushing them to find out even more about the technology of today and tomorrow.
We recommend this title not just because the word factivity is splendid wordplay but because it is a fun, informative non-fiction book. It is ideal for a rainy afternoon, travel day or to supplement school or home education work on a similar topic.
